That director Sidharth Anand had approached Shahid Kapoor for his Bang Bang is known to all. Shahid who could not do Bang Bang will now team up with the director for his next film, a little birdie reports.
The film was long in the pipeline and will be produced by Tips. Somehow the plan had backfired previously and had not worked out. But now it seems both the producer and the director is ready to go ahead with the film and are looking to rope in Shahid, who is basking in all the glory for Haider.
Although R Rajkumar had plenty of action sequences, it was indeed an action comedy but this film is expected to be a full blown action film, a genre that Shahid has not really tried out. He is now busy shooting for Shandaar with Alia Bhatt, post which he will move on to Farzi with Kriti Sanon followed by Udta Punjab.
So it needs to seen if things fall in place this time round!
