Samsung Gear S Smartwatch now up for grabs at a retail stores

South Korean giant Samsung has been busy taking pre-orders for its new Gear S smartwatch on its official e-store. Although the company hasn't revealed the exact availability details of the device, a new report by NDTV Gadgets suggests that the Gear S smartwatch is already available in some retail stores.
Earlier this week, Samsung began pre-bookings for its new Gear S smartwatch with a booking amount of Rs.1,000, to be adjusted from the final price once the device is officially available. The device is still listed as 'forthcoming' on the company's official e-store.
The Gear S smartwatch was first introduced ahead of IFA 2014 in September. The Gear S smartwatch has been priced at Rs.28,900 in India.
The Gear S smartwatch features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display with a 360x480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage and decks in a 300mAh Li-ion battery. It comes with built-in 3G support so that users can operate the device independently of any smartphone.  There's also Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity support.
The Gear S smartwatch can track information regarding fitness and health on the basis of activity and comes with a heart-rate sensor.
