LG has silently rolled-out a reduction in the prices of its L-series III smartphones – L80 and L90 – in the Indian market. The phones are now available at the new prices at e-retailers as well as brick and mortar stores.
LG L90, which was retailing around INR 15,500 in the country until now, has been officially available for INR 13,490 beginning November 15, however some e-retailers are selling it for as low as INR 11,599. Similarly, LG L80 is now being sold at the new official price of INR 11,990 (down from INR 12,990), but you can grab it for as low as INR 11,218 from e-retailers like Amazon India.
While the new prices might not even be as aggressive as other smartphones in this segment, they are finally nearing the range, for which they should have been launched in the first place.
