It looks like the Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone which we saw being
launched in India only a few days ago, will receive a larger variant
soon in the form of a model bearing a larger 5.3-inch display rather
than the current 5-inch one. This naturally means that the overall size
of the phone will be increased, but it is also being said that the new
model will be thinner than the old one.
Chinese smartphone certification website, TENAA is where this upcoming phone was spotted by the sleuths over at Phone Arena. Popularly known as a multi-layered smartphone owing to its unique design, the Lenovo Vibe X2’s new model with a 5.3-inch panel will still feature the same 1080 full HD resolution apparently.
While the original handset is 7.3mm thin, the fresh model will measure 6.8mm on its sides. And for some reason, Lenovo has decided to reduce the clock speed of the new phone’s processor from 2GHz to 1.5GHz. It will still remain the octa core MediaTek beast that it is however. By the looks of it, there don’t seem to be any other changes on the cards for the new larger variant.
