Another Chinese Smartphone Gionee 4G LTE Launched in India, in Rs.10000 to 15K Range

Close on the heels of the success recreated in vast Indian smartphones market after Xiaomi and Lenovo, another Chinese smartphone maker Gionee is here to make an impact, with its Gionee 4G LTE enabled smartphone priced cheaper in the range of Rs. 10,000 to 15,000.
The Indian smartphone makers Micromax, Lava and Spice are already facing immense competition in competing with the cheaper mobiles competing with their highly priced similar phones, will undergo the heat with Gionee that is still a budget phone with its 4G LTE features to attract buyers.
The Gionee P5L LTE priced Rs. 10,000 at the lower end features 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 8GB internal memory and can be extended up to 128 GB using a memory card, with a rear camera of 5-megapixels and sporting a 1800 mAh battery.
Gionee V6L LTE features are equally impressive in its range of phones with 5-inch-IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 8GB of internal storage extendable up to 128 GB with a memory card. The V6L also sports a 8-megapixels rear camera, LTE connectivity, 1950 mAh battery and DTS and it is the high-end model with Rs 15,000 price tag.
To begin with, Gionee will compete with its main Chinese rival Xiaomi, whose flash sales on Flipkart have unravelled a new business trend in India selling its phones in lakhs in mere second online. Its Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Mi3 in the market with very low price-tags but sporting high-end tech capability took the Indian mobile market by storm.
Their rivals in the range like Motorola’s Moto G and Moto E have been priced high at Rs.23,000 to Rs.25,000.
