The new Bolt series smartphone from Micromax comes with dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM) and runs the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) HVGA display.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6571) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Bolt A064 sports a 2-megapixel rear fixed focus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front fixed-focus camera also onboard. On the connectivity front, it offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS, and Bluetooth options. Unfortunately, the Bolt A064 does not support 3G connectivity.
The Micromax Bolt A064 packs a 1400mAh battery, which according to the official listing is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk-time and up to 150 hours of standby time on 2G networks. It comes with some pre-installed apps such as M! Live, Opera, M! Games, M! Insurance, M! Pick, M! Security, Clean Master, Hike, Games Club, Launcher: Mad, Saavn, Zapper Games: Bounce Ball Classic, Bubble X Slice, and Zombie Smasher.
The smartphone is available in Black colour only via Amazon India and Snapdeal. Notably, Amazon India is selling the Bolt A064 at Rs. 3,799, while Snapdeal has a discounted price tag of Rs. 3,301.
In a similar fashion, the domestic handset maker listed the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus on the company's site soon after it went on sale via a couple of e-commerce websites, priced at Rs. 16,750
