Lenovo launches A8-50 voice calling tablet at Rs 17,490

New Delhi: Chinese tech giant Lenovo has launched its voice calling tablet -- A8-50 in Indian market at a price of Rs 17,490.

The 8-inch tablet comes with single-SIM support for voice calling and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, which will be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat later.

A8-50 comes with an 8-inch display with 1280×800 pixel resolution and with 10-point multi-touch. It will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor sporting MediaTek MT8382 SoC having 1GB of RAM.

The gadget has 16GB internal storage which can further be increased to 32GB through a micro SD card. It comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

On the connectivity front, the Lenovo A8-50 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The tablet is available on e-commerce website Flipkart and Lenovo stores. It is available in four colour options- blue, white, red and yellow.
