HP 7 VoiceTab Android 4.4.2 KitKat tablet launched in India at Rs 10990

The HP 7 VoiceTab Android tablet has just entered India for a price of Rs 10990 and as you may have guessed from the moniker itself, the device comes with voice calling capability. It goes by the model number 1351ra and is being sold in only one color option of white.
Running on Android v4.4.2 KitKat, the HP 7 VoiceTab has a 6.9-inch touchscreen spitting out visuals in 1024 x 600p resolution. It uses a 1.3GHz MT8382 quad core processor from MediaTek to keep things going along with assistance from just 1GB of RAM.

The HP 7 tablet apparently promises up to 10 hours of mixed usage on a single charge. It has a 5MP camera with LED flash on its rear panel, while a 0.3MP one sits above its display. There’s 8GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot for expanding the memory space. Apart from that, you’re getting nothing special for Rs 10990.

Speaking of competitors, the VoiceTab will have to stand up to the Lenovo A7-30, Asus Fonepad 7 and Huawei MediaPad Honor T1 in India. Out of these three, the first one can present the toughest fight now that it’s selling for just Rs 7499 on Flipkart in spite of sporting very similar specifications as compared to the HP tablet.
