ISLAMABAD: Blogging web site Wordpress.com is no longer accessible in Pakistan, according to a media report.
The website was inaccessible on March 22, but there was no official statement from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on whether the ban was official or not, Dawn online reported.
WordPress is a blogging platform that also allows internet users to create their own web sites via easy-to-use templates. Thousands of Pakistanis and several Pakistan-based businesses use WordPress to host their blogs and websites.
The Pakistani government has banned video-sharing web site YouTube since February 22, 2008 due to non-Islamic objectionable videos
